I have been researching my Watts/Watson line on my paternal grandmother's paternal side of my family and have found Cherokee Indian on this side but today I have been researching her maternal side and I have found lot's of new thing about my family.
I think I have also found Cherokee on her maternal side as well in the Borden family. It seems that my 4th great grandfather, David Borden was half Cherokee Indian. It appears that his mother, Sarah Blizzard was a full blooded Cherokee Indian.
Also I have found another interesting thing about my family. Both sides of my dad's side of the family are crossed in the Borden line. This line crosses in this line after David Borden's line. Two of his children's line can be traced to both sides of my family on both my dad's maternal and paternal side. So now that makes three lines in my family that have Cherokee Indian that has passed down to me.
Wow, who knew how much you can find when you shake your family tree! I have found so much information about my family history that I never knew.
